Drill Through Filter Different Parent Report

I have a drill through report where I need to add an additional filter which isn't in the parent report. When I tick within the red box and lock the filter in the blue box, the filter works however when I go back to the parent and drill back into the drill through report the tick is gone out of the red box. 

How can i maintain the tick all the time?

Why don't you use this in the filters pane of your drill through page instead?
