Drill-Down behavior with multiple hierarchies

Is there a way to create a chart with drilldown through multiple hierarchies?

We are trying to create a column chart where the shared axis has a drilldown through a time hierarchy (Year > Quarter > Month); this works, no problem.

However, the business user also wants to have a second hierarchy based on product (family code > product code > sku)

Using the two hierarchies, they could then report family code by year/quarter/month, or product code by year/quarter/month, or sku by family code > product > sku, all within the same chart.

Does this capability exist in any of the standard visuals?  Is anyone aware of a custom visual that might accomplish this?

Hi, don't know if a chart can do that,

But you can recreate the scenario :

-Using 2 charts.

&

Using bookmarks and Selection Pane to hide or unhide  one of this.

Hello Victor,

Thanks for the response.  It does appear that this may meet the user requirement; we are going to build the chart using this approach and will show it to them.

One thing I did notice during a test is that when a user opens the report via an app, the view bookmarks option is not selected by default.  Do you know if there is a way to do this?

Regards,
