Drill Down - How to prepare the data?

Hello guys,

 

My situation:

 

I have an excel sheet with the follow rows (attachment „DataSource.xlsx)

The Hierarchy for e.g Code 1 and the same structure for Code 2 Passiven
2.png
I want to be able to drill down through the Code in this way:
1. Aktiven
    a. 10 - Umlaufvermögen
        i. 100 - Flüssige Mittel…
           1. 1000
           2. 1001
           3. 1010


2. Passiven
    a. 20 - …
        i. 200 - …
           1. 2000 - …
           2. 2001 - …
           3. 2002 - …

How do I have to structure my excel sheet to able to drill down?

You haven't filled the data in your table.  Your hierarcy values need to be repeated on every row in every column.  You can't leave blanks in your source table.  Every cell in columns H1 through H4 must have a value - even if it is the same value all the way down the column.

You need to have columns in your table, one for each level of the hierarchy. You can then either manually add each column, one at a time, to the visualisation, or create a hierarchy in the data model.
