Doubt regarding highlighting bar

Hi All,

I'm having few weeks data with sales,I put that on bar chart.I want to highlight Maximum week number bar.How to do that?

Every bar should be of same colour,but the maximum week number bar should be highlighted differently.

Re: Doubt regarding highlighting bar

Hi All,

I found the solution.In my scenario i'm using combo chart.So,that i can do conditional formatting for X-Axis.

I created a measure  which is

WeekSelected=selectedvalue(Date[week])
Then Again I created a new measure
Colour Coding=
var Highestweek=maxx(allselected(Date[Week]),WeekSelected)
return
if(WeekSelected=Highestweek,"#FF0000")

Thanks All 🙂

Re: Doubt regarding highlighting bar

@Likhitha You can only try to use the custom formatting --> Format by: color scale and choose colors for Minimum and Maximum values. The danger is that depending on the total values, more than one columns can be highlighted as the maximum.

Re: Doubt regarding highlighting bar

@JirkaZ  I can't opt that option.Because it is line and clustered column chart and there is no conditional formatting for Data colours

Hi @Likhitha ,

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to set conditional formatting for line and clustered column chart in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea in Idea Forum , to improve the Power BI.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Best Regards,

Amy
