Doubling Duplicate Values

Hello everyone,

Did a little searching and I can't seem to find a solution to my issue so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.  I'm responsible for a few dashboards at my company and one of them takes units shipped and divides them into various groups of exclusive catagories.  Unfortunately the totals of all catagories are greater than the sum without catagories.  The table below shows the unfiltered total on the LEFT and one of the filtered totals on the RIGHT.  In this case I have filtered down to a very narrow view to highlight the problem so all values are identical except the TOTAL at the top and the 6th value below the TOTAL.

LEFT VALUE = Units Shipped = CALCULATE(SUM('Raw Data'[Shipped]))

RIGHT VALUE = LVS Units Shipped = CALCULATE(SUMX('Raw Data',[Units Shipped]),'Customer Type'[Customer Type]="LVS")

So when I went to the Data view and filtered down to the same level, these were the values present:

The two values of 39,452 match up with the 78,904.  There are two lines for that location in that Year-Month.  (I can't remove the duplicate line from the source data due to business rules).  I cannot for the life of me figure out why the 78,904 is doubling again.  Any ideas?

@wireu3  could it be related to a relationship you have on the table?  what does your relationship view look like can you post it?
