Double hierarchy - how to deal with?

Hi community,

I need help to design a future dashboard, my scenario is the following :

- I got information from beginning of a campaign regarding organizational hierarchy (manager / employee)

- Those information is frozen from campaign reporting stand point

- From organizational regular stand point this is dynamical

I got this example :

- MANAGER A / EMPLOYEE A in CAMPAIGN REPORT

- MANAGER B / EMPLOYEE A in REAL LIFE

I need to design a report where we can switch from one to another hierarchy to estimate appropriate landings.

What would be the best solution to do that?

Thank you

Hi @MEYERITO

Believe that in this case you need to have a parent child hierarchy but with the parent having two different columns one for the real and another for the campaigns. Then make the model measures and adaptation based on the post below:

Thank you Miguel, however my concern is to give a simple way for user to switch from one hierarchy to another in the entire dashboard, rather than modeling it.

Ideally, I am looking for a trick for having a single button allowing to switch from one to another.

Hi @MEYERITO ,

Sorry I was not clear about what i meant with "Then make the model measures and adaptation based on the post below". What I mean is that you then can use a SWITCH function or bookmarks to make the visualizations to be visible based on one of the parent/child calculation for this you can also use the Calculation Groups to make the measures for the parent child hierarchy in order to get a slicer to work to your advantage.
