Hello community!
It's possible in a matrix visualization show only the total of a group but not the general total of the rows? That is, I have this visualization:
DWS | DW1 | DW2 | Total | |
GROUP | Qty | Qty | Qty | |
Group1 | ||||
Row1 | 10 | 30 | 40 | |
Row2 | 12 | 10 | 22 | |
Row3 | 5 | 12 | 17 | |
Total | 27 | 52 | 79 | |
Total | 27 | 52 | 79 |
(Group Total and Total Row)
And I want this:
DWS | DW1 | DW2 | Total | |
GROUP | Qty | Qty | Qty | |
Group1 | ||||
Row1 | 10 | 30 | 40 | |
Row2 | 12 | 10 | 22 | |
Row3 | 5 | 12 | 17 | |
Total | 27 | 52 | 79 |
(Total Row)
Or this:
DWS | DW1 | DW2 | Total | |
GROUP | Qty | Qty | Qty | |
Group1 | ||||
Row1 | 10 | 30 | 40 | |
Row2 | 12 | 10 | 22 | |
Row3 | 5 | 12 | 17 | |
Total | 27 | 52 | 79 |
(Group Total)
Thank you!

Thanks @Raul for providing the sample data as requested.
I hope you are looking for this.. You need to use "GROUP" and "ROW" properties under the Format pane of the Matrix.

@Raul Any luck with turning off "Sub-Totals" under "Format" pane of the matrix.

Hi @PattemManohar,
If I turning off "Subtotals", the result is this:
DWS | DW1 | DW2 | Total | |
GROUP | Qty | Qty | Qty | |
Group1 | ||||
Row1 | 10 | 30 | 40 | |
Row2 | 12 | 10 | 22 | |
Row3 | 5 | 12 | 17 |
It's not that I want.
Thanks for your answer.
@Raul Ok !! Could you please provide the raw data for the expected output mentioned above.
