Does using a machine with more ram speed up Power BI?

I'm using a 16gb ddr4 ram machine with a xeon processor gen something. Anyhow, I have about 176 rows total and power bi is making me want to cry with how absurdly slow it is. The transformations aren't even complicated. There are about 10 steps, get files from sharepoint. Concatenate. Unpivot. Create date column. Create month number column.

I can't see anything strikingly wrong/inefficient with my workflow. Would using a larger machine help? I know for excel a larger machine doesn't help it still crashes all the same.

@ykhan , if you really do mean just 176 rows of data, then I would suggest something is wrong with your machine. Perhaps try another machine to see if the problem persists. Is the Sharepoint site local? If your Power BI is retrieving data over a network, there could be all manner of network issues that could be causing the delay.
