Does the Top N work correctly when the values are same for different records?

Members,

How does the Top N work when the values are same for different records?

From what I have tried, it does not show a record with Top N visual filter. What is the reason? How can this be corrected?

I have attached a Power BI sample file.

Thank You!

Thank You @mussaenda! That worked.

So, what is the difference in the DAX is used and your DAX. The results are the same but just the filter is not working in my scenario.

Hello @BBIUser ,

I think it would show both the records for which the values are same.

In your example, both the records with same value stand at 4th position. So it would show both the values.

@rajulshah You are right but what happens is when I apply Top N the 3rd record will be hidden / removed in the table visual (by applying Top 3).

Try clearig the Top N visual level filter in the Power BI file and you will see the difference.
