Does having measures slows down calculation?

Hi

i have a fairly computational intensive PBI because many calculate are applied for each row in a table and on several slicers. It was working, slowly but was working. Each cell of the matrix was ok. Then I added several additional measure but THEY ARE NOT in the visual. They're there for other visuals (but not used yet). Now PBI is telling mme that there isn't enough memory. But those are not in any visual, they're just there.

Is having UNUSED Measures increasing the memory footprint/calculation speed?

Nevermind, it was a different issue.

There was a measure that has three times the same CALCUALTE (inside some IFs) in the formula.
By moving it outside in a VAR made it out of memory. Weird

Glad you found the root cause. If you'd like to improve the performance of the formula, I would suggest you open a new thread in this forum.
