Does SAP BW Connectivity Supports Incremental Refresh?

It seems that Microsoft has not made clear if all the data sources are enabled with Incremental Refresh, for now I can see that composite model have limitations, but if I have an SAP BW model and only 1 method of connectivity is used lets say import, then will it support for Incremental Refresh?

Yes, it's supported to do incremental refresh with SAP BW. During the transformation you need to change the date field to datetime format. However, detect data changes is not working well with SAP BW. Only appending new data will be working.

From this article, it mentioned: 

"Currently, for composite models, incremental refresh is supported for SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, SQL Data Warehouse, Oracle, and Teradata data sources only."

It looks like if you don't use composite model, incremental refresh should be available for SAP BW data source. Suggest you connect to SAP BW in Import mode in Power BI desktop to check if you can configure incremental refresh following this document.

should be available? We need to buy the premium capacity, how can we not be sure before buying this? Microsoft does not provide any trial feature in low price so that we can try this and then move to actual premium feature like PowerBI PRO.

As far as I know, with BW datsources, Power BI query are not foldable, so no incremental refresh

It is furstrating that there is no clear answer provided for these kinds of information, and with such a huge cost we cannot risk to pay that price and the thing does not works after that.
