Displaying goal attainment based on a sales table and a goals table, seperated by account and date

I am trying to create a matrix table that shows the percent attainment to goal for each account by quarter.  I have an account table that provides a unique identifier for each account.  I then set up relationships to 2 other tables, sales and goals.

I would expect this to work; however, the dates are not matching up between the 2.  I tried adding a date table but it doesn't allow this because it creates ambiguity to the other relationship.

Hi @AFernandezRx,

If these tables contains relationship, you can add a calculated column to store the related target on sale table(related, lookupvalue or other functions.), then add measure to compare with them(for e.g, Goal attainment = (Sum(Sales[Amount])/Sum(Sales[Target]))>1 ).

As smoupre said, share some sample data and detail contents will help us to know your requirement clearly.
