Display the recent previous month as a default

Hi All,

 I have an issue displaying the Total of the previous month. It's working when i filter by month but when I remove all the filter, the default value of the previous month count shows the very first month and not the month prior to the latest month.

Total This Month = CALCULATE(SUM(Table[Value]),FILTER(Table,Table[Date]= MAX(Table[Date])))

Total Last Month = CALCULATE([Total This Month], PREVIOUSMONTH(Table[Date]))

You may use DATEADD Function.

DATEADD ( Table1[Date], -1, MONTH )
