Display correct visual total in matrix

In this ficticious example a man made 2 financial gifts to a nonprofit organization that will distribute the gifts to charities that he chose. As can be seen in the image, his gifts total 16k and he has designated all of it to charities. What is the easy way to display the correct gift (sub)totals?

According to your picture, I created the same sample data as yours, and I created a Matrix chart to display the total amount, you can take a look and check if it’s what you want

And I created a Matrix chart and place columns like this:

If this result is not what you want, you can post some sample data(without sensitive data) and your expected result.

@Anonymous , looking at the image now able to identify the wrong total. Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
