Hi Everyone,
I have a call data for different times, days, months, weeks and years.
Now I want to be able to display the total number of calls made in a month and the total number of calls made in each year.
I have tried using 'count' on the data and it gives me the entire number of all calls in the data. But I want to be be able to just specify and display, 2016 or 2017, or 2018 and get the total for that specific year.
and also another column where I can display total for each of the months.
See the data below.
Many Thanks for your help.

Many Thanks Parv,
Your solution of creating/linking a new column a worked perfectly:
Due Date =
VAR mm = VALUE ( MID( 'Call Total'[DueDate], 4, 2 ) )
VAR dd = VALUE ( LEFT( 'Call Total'[DueDate], 2 ) )
VAR yy = VALUE ( MID( 'Call Total'[DueDate], 7, 4 ) )
RETURN
DATE( yy, mm, dd )
and
Total Calls = COUNTROWS( 'Call Total' )
