Display Total Sum and Average but for one column value

Hi,

I have requirement to display both Sum and Avg as total for same value in Matrix without displaying the value in two columns. Please find the screenshot what I am getting and  I would need to acheive. I found one solution to reduce the size of unwanted column, but would like to know is there any better solution as part of latest release. Please advise.

Hi @Anonymous ,

For your pic1, I think you get the results using the function of AVERAGEX. If so, you could just remove the values of ID. The Averagex function will just calculate the total column. The original columns will still show the values of ID like below.

Avg = AVERAGEX('Table',SUM('Table'[ID]))

If you still want to show the column name "ID", you could create a new table manually and put the column into Column field of the matrix. Please follow the steps to have a try.

  • Create a new table manually
