I feel like this is either incredibly simple or downright impossible. I grabbed the below image off Google, but it's basically what I have. Is there a way to display the exact amount of the entire column? So far, all data labels only display the amount of the individual pieces making up the column.

For stacked column chart, we only can display the individual amount. You can use line and stacked column chart. You can create a measure using the following formula, and add it as line values.
amount=CALCULATE(SUM(Table[value]))
For example, I create the following sample table.
Create measure using the formula: Measure11 = COUNTA(Table1[physicians]), then add it as line values.
