Dear all,
I am brand new in the Power BI world...
I starting to play with it and at the moment, there is something I am missing...My colleague shared a copy of the PBIX file used for the model. The idea is for me to understand the data model they have, play with some data, and get familiar with the tool..So far, so good...
Now, I want to test a merge query. I am starting by my table 1, and then trying to take the second table. I can't because of privacy issues..Then I log in. Now I can see the table in the dropdown list, but I can't choose any column...I have the feeling the reason is the table is part of a dataflow, and then it tries to refresh the data...So, let's disable the data refresh...I am getting the following message :
Possible Data Loss Warning
Disabling load will remove the table from the report, and any visuals that use its columns will be broken
Is there a way to get the pbix file totally disconnected from dataflow or any workspace in Power BI Desktop ?
am I missing something ?
Thanks

@Anonymous
You may try Copy Entire Table and Enter Data in Query Editor.
