Disable cross filter direction DAX

Hi,

I have relationship like this ( I need to have cross filter direction set to "both")

ss1.png

I have report with date slider and when it is not fitered I get data like this

ss2.png

But when I filter the data with slider I do not see any more all the customers.

I know that it is possible to see all the customer when I have Cross filter direction set to "Single" and on values "Show items with no data"  selected.

Is it possible to get something like this on last image but keeping cross filter direction to "both"?

Hi @difolt,

Then I think to create a calculated table should be the only way.

Hi,

you can change the crossfilter direction with the "crossfilter()" function.

Try: Measure = Calculate(SUM(sales[quantity], Crossfilter(Sales[customer_id], customer[id], OneWay))

Might be able to get there using an ALL to override.

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

@Greg_Decklerthank you for respons. I did it like this with ALL. I addded new DAx table and new cross fileter single connection ss5.pngss6.png

And I get it OK, but I was wondering is there a way to do that without creating new DAX table ?

Hi @difolt,

Or you can inactive the relationship between the tables and use the USERELATIONSHIP to work around.

Measure = CALCULATE(SUM(sales[Quantity]),USERELATIONSHIP(sales[Customer id],Customer[ID]))
