DirectQuery with BigQuery fails with apostrophe

I'm connecting to BigQuery using DirectQuery. I've created a Table visualization that cotains both string and numeric data and the data seems to loads fine. However, when I click on a string field that has an apostrophe in it I get the following error:

Couldn't load the data for this visual

OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.error] ODBC: ERROR [42000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (70) Invalid query: Syntax error: Expected ")" but got string literal 's Corporation' at [70:36].

The "'s Corporation" is a part of the string field (e.g. ABC's Corporation). I've tried multiple visualizations and get the same message with all of them. I then tried using Import instead of DirectQuery and that worked fine. However, that isn't a viable option as it took 45 minutes to pull the data and the resulting report is too large to share.

Tried with both 32-bit and 64-bit Version 2.68.5432.841
