Direct Query - Calculate formula error

Hi Experts

I cannot use the following as a calculated column measure when using direct query.....any work arounds

IPO = CALCULATE(COUNT(FACTSalesOrderTable[total_qty_ordered]),ALLEXCEPT(FACTSalesOrderTable,FACTSalesOrderTable[increment_id]))

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

@Route217 , My mistake, This will not work in direct query, You have to create a measure

IPO = COUNTX(filter(allselected(FACTSalesOrderTable),FACTSalesOrderTable[increment_id] = max(FACTSalesOrderTable[increment_id] ) ) , FACTSalesOrderTable[total_qty_ordered])

@Route217 , Try a measure like

IPO = COUNTX(filter(FACTSalesOrderTable,FACTSalesOrderTable[increment_id] = earlier(FACTSalesOrderTable[increment_id] ) ) , FACTSalesOrderTable[total_qty_ordered])
