I am trying to calculate the difference between the two calculated ratios, instead of recalculating the ratio based on the whole data set.
In the below example, the desired difference is -4.36% instead of 135.29%. Here is the pbix file

If I may suggest, I highly recommend changing the source table structure in Power Query Editor.

The data provided is only a subset of a table, apart from the Variant subset the rest is necessary. I would love to calc the variant using DAX instead but I am not sure if I could do that and achieve the same outcome (ie ratios). Pointers?

Your sheet1 table is not well arranged. I do not see any use the of the Current/Prior column. What is the purpose of that column?
