Difference in column details in sales

Hi

I have two columns with sales 2018 & sales 2019

one of the column is shown with aggregate symbol another one is not showing anything.

I have checked with datatypes and all which is reflecting the same. how can i show both the columns either in aggregate or without that symbol?

pls suggest.

Hi Cherry- I have just followed the thread that you have shared. i have throughly cross checked the data that is available in my end. there are some - and () which is appeared in that column and at power query level i have changed the datatype to fixed decimal and now it it reporting the aggregation data while checking it at front end.

Thanks for your help and support.

Hi @rajendraongole1 ,

What aggregate symbol do you mean?

Do you mean the yellow highlight in the picture below?

If it is, could you share the dummy pbix file which can reproduce the scenario, so that we can help further investigate on it? You can upload it to OneDrive and post the link here. Do mask sensitive data before uploading.

In addition, you could refer to this similar thread.

Hi

Yes correct, i have checked in both the columns data sales 2018 & sales 2019. there is no characters in that data. but one of the field is showing as aggregation symbol another one not . it quite strange to me.

do i need to cross check or change datatype anywhere once i pull the data into power bi?

Please suggest

Regards,

Rajendra

Hi @rajendraongole1 ,

What is your data source?

If it is convenient, could you share the dummy pbix file which can reproduce the scenario, so that we can help further investigate on it?
