% Difference Measurement

Hi everyone,

How do I create a measurement that will show the difference between 2 percentages?

Quarter1st %2nd % % Diff
Q1 202025%16%9%
Q2 202015%16%-1%
Q3 202020%16%4%
Q4 202030%16%14%

Please note that 1st % is averaged, while 2nd % is another measurement.

Thanks!

Average 1st measure = Average([1st%])

Then diff = [Average 1st] - [2nd&]

If this does not work, please share a sample table of you original table, dax is based on data table not table visuals, so it is hard to say without data table.

*Additional Information*

The 1st % is an aggregated average. If someone could help me to write a dax version of the aggregated average function that I clicked, as seen in the image that would be much appreciated.

Hey @Anonymous ,

you can just subtract the measures if you just want to get the difference:

% Diff = [1st %] - [2nd %]

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Best regards

Hi Denis, Unfortunately, the 1st % is not a measurement.
