I'm trying to get a query to differentiate if a past value is greater than the current quarterly value. Using two different Name types beside RecordID, I've got the following test data:
You can see that the second column displays correctly with the icon however I'm trying to stop the icon displaying if the value for 202002 is the highest value. So far, I have this, using a conditional formatting rule to get the icons:
MMM = IF(SELECTEDVALUE(NewTest[Result]) = CALCULATE(MAX(NewTest[RESULT]), ALLSELECTED(NewTest[Quarter])), 1, 0 )
Is this achievable? I was thinking to calculate the max Quarter value as a VAR?

@Anonymous - You should be able to do this although exactly how depends on your source data. But, you should be able to do something like:
Measure =
VAR __Max = MAXX(ALL() or ALLEXCEPT(),[Column])) //max overall
VAR __Current = MAX([Column]) //max in current context
RETURN
IF(__Max = __Current...)

you needs to all expect , but add a column on row or column other than the month
