I have a data set that has a random number of rows per request. Each request can have multiple steps.
Each of the steps has a start date and an end date. This is an example of the data:
Request# | Task | Task Start | Task End |
43567 | 1 | 3/21/2019 | 3/23/2019 |
43567 | 3 | 2/14/2019 | 3/25/2019 |
43567 | 5 | 3/16/2019 | 3/17/2019 |
43567 | 8 | 3/22/2019 | 3/22/2019 |
77234 | 2 | 3/22/2019 | 3/25/2019 |
77234 | 4 | 3/23/2019 | 3/24/2019 |
77234 | 5 | 3/25/2019 | 3/27/2019 |
I want to measure the overall start and end time for each request. Is this best handled in M or DAX?

@silkwire in dax it is esaier, add following measure
StartDate = CALCULATE( MIN( Table6[Task Start] ), ALLEXCEPT( Table6, Table6[Request#] ) )
