Details on time slicer

I want to set time slicer from datetime to datetime. For example, setting time from 2017/01/01 2:00 to 2017/4/3 12:00.

I have similar power bi file downloaded this community with the funciton. However, when I refer to the file to follow some steps, the time slicer  doesn't work. I don't know what wrong is. Can someone tell me how to make time slicer work successfully?

Unfortunately, slicer 'between' mode not support to analytics time type. When you use datetime field in slicer, it only recognize date part. I'd like to suggest you to submit an idea for this requirement.

However, in the successful file I downloaded, I can set time and date I want to search for. So, I think there is a complex solution to solve the problem.
