Desktop refresh error: Oracle: ORA-12569: TNS:packet checksum failure

Hi All,

Anyone has seen this error in the past? ..trying to refresh a dashboard with Oracle Database.

I have already installed Oracle ODAC and continue to get the error.

Error:   Oracle: ORA-12569: TNS:packet checksum failure

Any thoughts?

This is a oracle database error rather than power bi. The data received is not the same as the data sent: follow the suggested actions:

ORA-12569: TNS:packet checksum failure - Oracle 10.2 to MySQL 5.0 (wmlcloud.com)

The issue is, I have tested the connection on a whole brand new dashboar.

When I select get data, I get the same error. How can the data be in a different format if its a whole brand new connection set up?

@Joorge_C , Have added the oracle driver install directory into the Environment path of Windows

So when the installation is completed, it is not added into the program files folder paths?

Or perhaps Im not selecting the right path?

For me it only worked, after I added the path

Any other ideas?
