Hello
have some very strange behaviour in an import model. When I import a table a letter keeps getting capitalised. This only happens when viewing the model, if I look at the data in power query it is like the source as expected.
the circled value is how this appears in the data source with a lower 'a'. there are no steps being applied in power query it is just a straight import.
but when I view the data in a table control suddenly the letter a in this field gets capitalised. This came to light when doing a count description, returning 3 when it should be 2, as most of our comparisons are textual this could have major implications. This doesn't happen in direct query mode. strangely the 'a' in 'Short Description' is not affected.
