Deleting Total in one single column?

Hello!

I have a question regarding a matrix. I want to add a "comment" column at the end (which is also in my excel data as a column) but I do not want that a comment is show up in the "total" line on the bottom. Is that somehow possible? But the other figure's total should stay. 🙂 Thanks!

@Anonymous add a measure and use HASONEVALUE Function

Comment Measure =
IF ( HASONEVALUE ( Table[ColumnOnRow] ), MAX ( Table[Comment] ) )

I would  Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!

Hi  @Anonymous ,

Try a measure like:

Comment = IF(ISINSCOPE('Table'[category]) && MAX('Table'[value]) in {2,4},"test",IF(NOT(ISINSCOPE('Table'[category])),"test",BLANK()))

Then go to format>Subtotals -> column subtotals:off;

And you will see:

Attached is the related .pbix file if needed.

Best Regards,
Kelly

Hi @Anonymous ,

You can also go to Format -> Field Formatting -> set font color(For only Apply to Total) to background color for hiding specific total.

Thanks !

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you !!!

@Anonymous

Try like:

Measure = IF( ISINSCOPE(Table[Column]),(MAX(Table[Comment])))
