Delete live dataset connection to allow for other data sources

Hi All

I have a report that is connected live to a Power BI dataset. For various reasons, I want to revert to connecting from the report to the original datasources. Is there any way I can delete the connection to the PBI dataset to allow me to add other datasources?

Under data source settings I only seem to get options to change to a different dataset but not to actually delete the connection.

Thanks!

Not currently possible (outside of binary patching the pbix file).  Might be quicker to start over. Did you know that you can copy pages and visual across pbix files?

@lbendlin thanks for the reply! I am aware that I can copy visuals but I understood that it was not possible to copy pages and I have tonnes of bookmarks that I do not want to recreate.

My real problem is that I wanted to move some measures to a different home table (for standardisation purposes) without breaking reports. If the data model and the report are in the same file, this is possible but if the report connects using a live dataset connection, it breaks all of the visuals.

I'd really like to know if there is an easier way of making changes to the data model without breaking dependent reports.

Not that I am aware of.
