Default slicer value

Hi there,

I have been reading several posts like this https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Setting-the-Default-Value-of-a-Slicer/m-p/16442#M4550 but I think they do not fit my problem.

I have an slicer with month and I want it to show a default value depending if the month is considered closed or not. On my SSAS cube I have a column with 0 and 1 for this. For example my last month considered closed is December 2019 so I would like to set this on Power BI but next month when January is updated and set to 1 and considered closed, I would like my filter to show January, and of course when I expand the slicer see the other months.

Thanks in advance

Hi , @maserr

Based on my research, it is not supported yet currently. You can come up with a new idea and add your comments there to make this feature coming sooner.

Hi @maserr ,

I haven't seen any visual that can do it. However, you can handle it using bookmarks.

One with the current clousure and other with non clousure months.

Maybe it helps you,

Ricardo
