Hi!
I am working on a report where the slicers must have default selected values based on a user table. I have previously only worked with default values based on roles/security and not a specific table. Persistant filters would have been a good workaround but I believe this is only available for the Power BI Service and we are using Power BI Report Server.
For example: User A can see options 1, 2 and 3 in the slicer but has option 2 as the default value according to the table. Option 2 is pre-selected when he/she opens the report.
Is there a straightforward way of making this connection in SSAS and implementing it in Power BI? I am using a tabular model with direct query mode and Report Server on prem.
Thanks!
