Deduct cumulative values in a previous rows

Hello,

I have a report which automatically captures data from sensors which have a counter.

Every month I get the cumulative amount in each sensor and I deduct it from the cumulative amount of the previous month so I can have the total monthly amount.

For example if the sensor cumulative amount in August is 8000 and the cumulative amount in July was 7000, this means that I had 1000 units in August.

How can I do it in Power BI so can perform a monthly analysis?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please provide a dummy sample. The DAX formulas depend on the data structure.
