Decimal Problem

Hi Everyone,  I have a problem with a calculation result
I need to present a result of a measure on Thousands, so I made a formula to divide a measure by 1000.  This is the formula (see image).   The formula works very well, but with some numbers something is wrong and In some cases don't display the result.  Do anyone know why?

Hi @MiguelSaldana77 ,

The "8E-5" is a scientific notation. It is the same as 0.00008. You can set format type in the Modeling tab.

From my point of view, I think left parts of your two SELECTEDVALUE() functions should be the same. Otherwise, you will get two different default values.
If your Factor column is in the table you showed, it may contain other words except "miles" and "millions". This is a reason that caused blank result.

Best Regards,

Eads
