Debugging in Firefox

Purpose: Test custom visual on Firefox browser

Background: I've created a custom Gantt chart visual that goes down to the hour. However, I'm only able to test this visual in IE. Whenever I attempt to test this visual in Firefox I recieve the "Can't contact Visual server" error message. 

Has anyone run into this issue? Can visualizations only be tested in I.E.? I prefer Firefox's debugging tools and would like to use that browser
