Dax Formula subtract a measure

Hi All,

Need help.  I am stuck.

Can I create a new measure using 2 other measures.  If not what is the correct method to get net members.

I have created two measures

MembersCountInvoicetable = DISTINCTCOUNT(SalesInvoicesandcreditnotesappend[Contact])

MembersresignationCountcredittable = DISTINCTCOUNT(CreditNotes[Contact])

I have used the two measure A -B = C  or 500 - 30 = 470 to get net members as per below

NoOfMembers = SalesInvoicesandcreditnotesappend[MembersCountInvoicetable]-SalesInvoicesandcreditnotesappend[MembersresignationCountcredittable]

Result should be 470 but is not.

Cheers

Elizabeth

Hi @ElizabethTachji,

We could create a new measure using 2 other measures via subtract method. But the result returned by a measure will be affected by row context. Especially, the two basis measures are calculated from two tables.

For more advice, please share your sample data and show us desired output.
