Dates between slicer

i am having problems with my dataes between slicer, the date "to" is not defaulting to todays date.

my calander table is created witht the following dax

DIM - Date Table = CALENDAR (DATE (2010, 4, 1),today())

i have othere reports and it seems to work fine. i have tried to replicate the issue in blank PBX and i noticed my new slicer has little calander icons, where as it does not on my other report. are these icons new?

It could be to do with refreshing your data model?

Have you tried refreshing before you publish it?

Hey @NewbieJono

I think the calendar icons have always been there however the option to change them has moved to the slicer settings pane.

The Max item in your slicer should default to your maximum date in your calendar table which, from the above, should be today.

If you want to fix this another way you can use the filters pane and rhe relative date option to set this 😊

Thank you, can you think of any other reason why the date does not show as today when published live.

e.g for today the slicer went to 01/02/2023. i was able to move it manually to 02/02/2023
