Dates and time-lag

Hello!

I need some help with PowerBI and the dates.

I have three tables:

- Calendar Table

- Transaction data business A

- Transaction data business B

For business B, I need to have a time lag of 6 months. In other words, the dates in business B will have to be the date -6 months.

The problem is that because I have the calendar table, the dates when slicing or filtering are the dates without the time lag.

I hope it's clear. Is there a way to fix this so the visualization shows the actual data of business A comparing it with business B 6 months ago?

Thanks!

Re: Dates and time-lag

Have formula on B to move it up 6 months?

6 month Ahead = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),dateadd('Date'[Date],6,Month))

Re: Dates and time-lag

But if I want to then plot both in the same chart to compare them will it use the date of 6 months ahead? While of course, keeping the original dates as conections with the date table
