Hi all,
I'm using the Slicer visual to display dates in a drop down menu, and I've changed the format to be MMMM yyyy (ex: March 2018). I've done this before in other dashboards without an issue, but for some reason when I've tried to do it in one file the dates are duplicating.
For example, when I display them as a drop down menu, instead of seeing:
January 2018
February 2018
March 2018
I'm seeing:
January 2018
January 2018
January 2018
January 2018
January 2018
February 2018
February 2018
February 2018
February 2018
February 2018
...and so on.
*note: I've only listed the months 5 times in the above example, but in reality the months are showing as many times as there are days in each month (30, 31, or 28/29 depending on the month)
Has anyone had this happen before? I'm unsure why it would be problematic in this file, but not in others.
Thanks!

Hi ledoyle1121,
I have reproduced your issue, if there’re different days in the same month, there will be duplicate dates in a slicer like below as you have posted:
As a workaround, you can use DAX formula below to create a calculate column:
Column = FORMAT(Table1[Date], "MMMM-YYYY")
Then format the column to “MMMM yyyy” and set a slicer to the column.
