Dear all,
maybe you can point me to the right answer:
In an import file I have a column with date-time data. Format is YYYYMMDDHHMM (as text). E.g. 201801031403
My challenges:
I need two columns - one with data, one with time - which I later can use for filter & navigation
What am I doing wrong??? Or is there any smarter solution?
Cheers
Christian

@breitgo,
Please check detailed steps in the PBIX file below about how to get time part from the column and convert it to Time.

Hi Christian,
Data Type : Time has specific formats.
Hour, Minutes and Seconds are seperated my colon.
So, I suggest split 2nd column after 2nd digit so it gives you seperate Hour and Minute values. Add custom column to concatenate them with colon in between Or merge columns using colon seperator. Change Data Type to Time.
