Date slider by month/year

please, is there any solution how to have date slider (filter) by month and year (without day)?

Any plans to have this as a standard functionality in the standard slicer?

The custom timeline slicer visual is OK but doesn't work very nicely with direct query (apply button) AND not aesthetically very nice (cannot be customized much and cannot be shrunk very much also so takes a lot of screen space).

You can create a calculated column using DAX : Year/Month=FORMAT(Table[Date],"YYYY/MM"), and then create a slicer. Or you can use timeline slicer to create a date slicer.
