Date slicer

Hi

I have a table with 4 fields:

Project --Task-- start date--end date

P1--Alpha--01/02/2019--12/11/2020

P1--Beta--01/05/2020--09/12/2020

P2--Alpha--01/05/2019--15/12/2020

P3--Alpha--01/04/2019--19/09/2021

I would like to create a slicer based on the min and max of start & end date

I have create a date table and I succed to set the min & max for all table

Slicer is from 01/02/2019 to 19/09/2021

But when I filter the project 1 , it doesn't work .. the slicer gives the same value

I should have only min & max of project1 so from 01/02/2019 to 09/12/2020

Many thanks for your help

I have 2 tables:

Table Project:

Project --Task-- start date--end date

P1--Alpha--01/02/2019--12/11/2020

P1--Beta--01/05/2020--09/12/2020

P2--Alpha--01/05/2019--15/12/2020

P3--Alpha--01/04/2019--19/09/2021

Table Calendar:

Date = calendar(min(Project[start date],max([Project end date])

The slicer is based on Calendar Date.

When I filter a project, the slicer should display the min of start date & max of end date ONLY for project 1 and not for all the table

Hi azizdoghmi,

Because the slicer will use a column field instead of a measure, when you filter the project, it won't affect on slicer. I suggest you could sumbit this reqirement on power-bi-ideas .

Best Regards,
Zoe Zhi
