Hello guys,
Date data I put on slice was not a continous date data. It is somethink like:
But when I slide the slicer, its step is continous date in range (e.g. ... 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 Aug...).
Can I just move between date existing on my data only (e.g. ... 02, 09, 14, 16, 20 Aug...)?
Anyone figured this one out? I have the exact same request and dont want to turn all time intelligence off
HI @navafolk ,
If you turn on time intelligence feature, power bi will analyze these data type fields and generate hidden calendar for time intelligence functions.(these inexistent date records are from that calendar)
Power BI Date Dimension; Default or Custom? Is It Confusing?
Maybe you can try to turn off 'time intelligence' option to prevent continuous date records, but it will affect other calculations who use time intelligence feature.

Thank you, v-shex-msft.
Did I turn off 'time intelligence' option by uncheck this:
I did uncheck it already, but slicer still slide on continous date steps.
For more information, I am using version 2.71.5523.821 64-bit (July 2019).
Hi @navafolk ,
As blog mentioned(you can hover your mouse to '!' icon to see detail descriptions), it will turn on/off to detect new date/time type fields to generate hide calendar.(it not effect existed date fields, you need to create new pbix file to enable this effect)

I turned off all 'Time intelligence', started a new file but it really did not work for me. 😞
