Hi,
I have been stuck for too long on something I thought to be simple. I want to plot a measure on a column chart with on the x-axis a date. I have my own date table marked as a date table and for the date column I have selected the format to be short date:
Now when I want to plot the date and have the option to add a trend line, I need to have the x-axis configured in continuous mode. However when I do this I cannot get the time portion discarded which then crops the bar width way too much:
When I set it to categorical it plots better, but then I don't have the option to add a trend line...
Any ideas
Thanks

Here is the feedback from product team -- This is currently by design without any formatting options to change. We will review and analyze current logic but no ETA at this time.
Based on my previous test, when you narrow the dates range to display only 2 ~ 5 dates on the axis, the time values will appear. However, when displaying one date or more than 5 dates, it works well without the time values. Unfortunately, there is no solution or workaround at present.
