Hi everyone,
I`m working on one project for a company that has 2 entities. One uses the date type from USA (mm-dd-yy) on the transactions table and the other company the date type from Aus (dd-mm-yy). I`m using the "change type with locale" on the power bi desktop and when I refresh the data on the power bi desktop all dates are updated and show correctly. However, when the data module automatically refreshes on the power bi service, there are some dates that show as blank.
It may be a date conversion issue. So, is there is any place that I can set up the power bi service to use the same location that power bi desktop? Or is there is something that I can do to fix this issue?
I`ve tried to change my windows location, I search on the internet about this problem and I couldn't find a solution for this issue. Can you kindly help me?
Note: unfortunately, I can't share the data module because there is confidential information.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
The service gets its locale information from the user's browser which most of the time gets it from the OS.
