Date hierarchy field disappears in my charts when I make changes in my data

Hello,

I am having a report where I perform a UNION function which has SELECTCOLUMN functions in it. I have some bar charts in which I want to have months in my x axis. The issue is every time I change something in my data the date hierarchy I set in my charts disappears and instead of breakdown by month I get breakdown by day.

Can you please tell me how can I stop this happening?
