I don't get the date in wanted format, when changing the language.
It's working when I use my SSAS model.
But when I'm now moving to a Power BI model I don't get it to work the same way.
See picture.

Finally I solved the problem via Tabular editor.
Modified the settings to the same as I have for the old SSAS model.
You can change the language for Power BI in Settings > General > Language and select Swedish to get the result. It works at my side.
Kindly let me know if this helps.

Hi!
My slicer is always working great and will change date format if I change the Language as you suggested for both English and Swedish.
But in the table visual I will always have the same format.
The only option that is changing the date format correct is the (General Date) option under Common formats, but I don't want the time.
My date column have data type: Date/time.
Finally I solved the problem via Tabular editor.
Modified the settings to the same as I have for the old SSAS model.
Looks like i need to use (General Date) but i don't want the time.
I get diffrent results in a visual and in a slicer on the same date when the language in the browser is Swedish.
