Date format issue

Hello All,

I have an area chart showing YTD data and I want to display the date as (January,2018  or February,2018 ). I tried Concantenating year and month with comma(,). It gives me the result but its sorted in the Alphabetical order. Please help me to achieve it.

This is what I wrote.

Test Month year = DateDim_1[MonthName] & "," & DateDim_1[Year]

@Anonymous,

Yes, the result after concatenated is text format so it will sorted alphabetically. You can change data format from text to date and sort again.
