Date cell not being imported from CSV

I have the following column called "StartDate" in an csv file, made in excel. I only recently added this column and want to use it in a report I am creating. So, having added the data to the csv file, and refreshing the data source in Power Bi, this additional column does not appear in Power Bi. It's missing even from the interal "Data" tab within PBI. I can't seem to get it to import this data, has anyone come across this problem?

hi, @Anonymous

After my research, you could try this way:

In Edit Queries, Click Advanced Editor

Add 1 for columns in Source, for example:

Before

After

12.JPG

Then click Done and change the data type for the new column.

here are two blogs for you refer to:

Try looking at the source row in Power Query and adding one to the number of columns
